Job Description
- Any Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar field
- 3+ years of work experience with statistical or machine-learning techniques such as linear regression, logistic regression, and time series, forecasting, clustering, etc. is required.
- Proficiency in a structured programming language (SQL) is a must – knowledge of one of statistical/general purpose scripting languages software such as L, R, SAS, Python, Java etc. is mandatory
- Strong hands-on programming experience in one (or more) of the languages specified above
- Excellent knowledge of statistical programming languages such as L, R or SAS is required.
- Other programming experience (Python, Perl, Java, C++) is highly desirable
- Knowledge of SQL, databases, and cloud technology
- Familiarity with big data tools and platforms (such as Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, MAPR, etc.) is a big plus
- Experience of working in Unix environment
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Moderate business travel is required
